Peter saw Jesus as a teacher, but now he is calling Lord. It was not a learned prayer, it was a reaction of the reality of meeting the Holy One. That’s what the prophet Isaiah experienced when he saw the Lord in His glory. That’s what happens when we come in the presence of the Lord, either in Church or at non-religious place and we are aware of being unholy.
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
