My journey with Jesus began shortly after Albania emerged from decades of communism and religious freedom was restored. At the time, I was a university student trying to understand a rapidly changing country and an uncertain future. Like many young people around me, I had questions about life, purpose, and what the future might hold.
Then I encountered Jesus—not simply as a religious figure, but as a caring and personal friend. That encounter changed the direction of my life. I eventually surrendered my life to Him as my Lord and began a journey that continues to this day.
I attended the Word of Life Bible School, where I grew in my understanding of Scripture and learned what it meant to follow Christ more intentionally. After completing my studies, I returned to my city and became involved in church planting and full-time ministry.
From a Guitar to a Tape Recorder
Those early years of ministry were full of learning—and plenty of experimentation! I learned to play the guitar, began writing songs for the Lord, and eventually became involved in leading worship. Our church was small and our resources were limited, but our enthusiasm was not.
At one point, we recorded our first album using a simple tape recorder. By today’s standards, it was certainly not a professional recording studio—but to us, it was something special. We were creating music that came from our hearts and sharing the Gospel through songs.
And somehow, it became an exciting success! Looking back, I realize that God was teaching me something important: you don’t always need perfect circumstances to begin doing what God has placed in your heart. Sometimes you simply start with what you have.
Learning to Do Many Things
As the church grew, I became involved in many different areas of ministry. My former pastor often reminded me that ministry requires versatility. So I tried to learn and do just about everything—preaching, worship, evangelism, discipleship, administration, organizing events, helping people, and whatever else needed to be done.
Much later, I took the StrengthsFinder assessment and discovered that one of my strongest traits is Learner. That discovery made a lot of sense. I genuinely enjoy learning. I am curious about people, Scripture, leadership, technology, music, communication, church planting, and new ways of reaching people with the Gospel. I am still learning. And I suspect I will be learning for the rest of my life.
A New Chapter in Canada
In 2009, I came to Canada. My ministry gradually became focused primarily on the Albanian community. I helped establish what became the first Albanian evangelical ministry in Canada, and over the years I have continued looking for new ways to serve Albanians, strengthen believers, reach those who do not yet know Jesus, and help build bridges between people and churches.
My journey has taken me through many different ministry environments and responsibilities. I have served in churches, helped plant ministries, led worship, preached, discipled people, organized outreach, developed online resources, and worked with others who share a passion for reaching people with the Gospel.
Today, I continue serving and leading while exploring new ways to communicate the timeless message of Jesus in a rapidly changing world. There are many stories behind this journey. Some can be written. Others are better understood over a cup of coffee and a conversation.
Still Learning
One thing I have discovered along the way is that none of us ever arrives at a place where we no longer need to learn, grow, or receive help. I am currently navigating another learning curve in my own life and ministry, and that experience has reminded me how valuable another perspective can be. Sometimes we become so accustomed to listening to the same people and seeing things from the same angle that we cannot see the whole picture. An outside perspective can help. A trusted person can ask questions we have avoided asking ourselves. Someone who is not caught up in our circumstances can sometimes help us see reality more clearly. So don’t be afraid to say, “I need help.” We all do.
Walking Alongside Others
One of the privileges I value most is being able to walk alongside people as they navigate their own journey. If you are looking for someone to talk to about your faith, ministry, leadership, relationships, or the challenges you are facing, I would be glad to listen. I especially value the idea of spiritual fatherhood. The Apostle Paul wrote about a generation that had many teachers but not many fathers. There is something powerful about having someone who does more than give information—someone willing to listen, understand your heart, pray with you, challenge you when necessary, and walk with you through different seasons of life. If I can be that kind of person for someone, I consider it a privilege.
Marriage and Relationships
I also have a particular interest in helping couples build healthy marriages. Whether you are preparing for marriage or are already married, having trusted people around you can make a tremendous difference. As a certified facilitator, I have the opportunity to help couples think intentionally about their relationship and address important issues before they become crises. I especially appreciate the principle of “saving your marriage before it starts.”
Too often, couples don’t have anyone with whom they can openly discuss their struggles. Problems that could have been addressed early can grow quietly until they become much more difficult—and sometimes very public. Seeking wise counsel is not a sign of failure. It can be an expression of wisdom. Whether you are preparing for marriage, strengthening an existing marriage, or walking through a difficult season, you don’t have to navigate everything alone.

There are many things I want to share through this website. My hope is simple: that something you find here will encourage you, challenge you, teach you, or point you toward Jesus. I don’t know exactly what brought you to this page. Perhaps you are a friend. Perhaps you are searching for answers. Perhaps you are looking for encouragement.
